The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a UK Government energy efficiency scheme to help reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty. It means that energy companies are obliged to fund energy efficiency measures for those who can least afford the upfront costs. Which is great news for householders who fit the grant criteria!
We provide energy efficiency measures under two grant schemes – ECO4, and ECO Flex.

Only energy efficiency band D-G homes are eligible for ECO4. For social housing and private rented accommodation, ECO4 will support the least efficient homes in bands E-G only

Households in receipt of means tested benefits will be eligible. Anyone else not in receipt of benefits can still qualify through ECO Flex if their local authority has the scheme available and either your combined annual household income is below £31,000 (before tax) or you have a long standing health issue under one of the following umbrella conditions; a cardiovascular condition, s respiratory disease, limited mobility, or Immunosuppression.
